Among the best of the best! Having worked with a good number of companies and contractors over the years, I recently had the opportunity to work with Jim at Pure Air Mechanical. I had some frustrations with various heat pump system quotes in trying to get a new efficient system installed to replace a very old heat pump. When I approached Jim, he took the time to really listen and understand my concerns. He then helped me in working through options to make the best decision which was not the lowest priced system but rather the best value for the next 10-15+ years. The best compliment I can make is you want to work with someone and a company that you can trust. There are lots of companies that are somewhat shady. Pure Air Mechanical is just the opposite. I truly valued the open communication, patience, expertise, and trustworthiness of Pure Air and Jim especially. Thank you for being a breath of Pure Air (pun intended).

Fantastic experience having Pure Air work on my HVAC system. My older oil furnace and air conditioner were both needing replacement and Jim from Pure Air listened to me, reviewed what I had and designed a new system that has worked wonderfully. We had such a great experience and are so thankful for Jim and his team! Our house is almost 100 years old and came with a lot of challenges (like double layer brick walls, four stories, weird bedroom layouts and odd attic spaces) but they rolled with the punches, made necessary adjustments and stayed longer on some days to make sure we had the A/C installed before the awful heatwave this summer. We were so grateful! His pricing was more than fair, he was incredibly responsive and professional. I can’t recommend them enough.

Trying to schedule things and get things done from them was nearly impossible and they were extremely expensive. I reached out to Pure Air and they were here the following week to take care of my HVAC system. Not only did they take care of it, but they also provided recommendations for maintenance as well as gave me a fair price. Pure Air Mechanical replaced our 25 year old, 30 ton commercial air conditioning system. As a health club, heat and humidity are a constant problem throughout the entire year. Jim is very knowledgeable in airflow design, he helped me with an issue in my bi-level home. The lower level was not heating all that well. He recommended putting installing a low air return in my family room. The work was done quickly and neatly. My lower level now heats comfortably. Called Jim at 8 am for an intermittent heating issue. Of course the heater worked perfectly while he was here! He said to call anytime when it malfunctions again and he’d come out no matter the time. You can’t get service better then that!!

We hired Pure Air Mechanical to install custom exposed ductwork in our workshop, and we're very happy with the results. Jim, the owner, was communicative and knowledgeable throughout the process, great suggestions on design and clearly knows his stuff.

His associate Charlie did much of the installation and the guy is meticulous. The work is clean, well thought out, and he raised the aesthetic bar rather than just getting the job done. You can tell he takes pride in his work.

A couple of small details we'd discussed got missed after the sale, but when I followed up Jim and Charlie were responsive and took care of it. That kind of follow-through matters.
